Good all around security for keeping aware of what needs updated. The folks at Secunia do a great job at staying on top of updates for software.
If you like to have more information about updates and how you install them and where they are on your system, use the older version. I didn't like the new interface in the "Updated" version as it did not allow the level of control and provide the information about the updates and locations on your system.
The old version uses the same database as the new so no missed updates or omissions. Just a diffrent interface. Hope this helps.
Looks good, but program categorized as "patched" is possible to have open to wild exploits.
Some can be found in "secure browsing" as "insecure, no solution", but others... hehe... God knows.
Very good and usefull programe, informs you of all the program versions, old
and upto date allowing an accurate listing of programe versions on your disc.
Informs and locates remedy to correct any problem versions.
